Cappella di San Rocco

In the hamlets, we can admire five chapels: that of San Rocco, in the locality of the same name, on the Alba-Murazzano provincial road.

The chapel dedicated to St Mary Magdalene, mother of Jesus, in the hamlet of Bossolaschetto; the chapel of the Guardian Angel in the locality of Chiaretta; San Lorenzo in Pratonoero, once called Pratonovero and 'white earth'; and finally the chapel of Santa Maria degli Angeli at Pezzea.Unfortunately, there are no historical references about them; they were most likely built or rebuilt after the severe plague epidemic that hit Bossolasco hard around 1630. Once the epidemic ceased, the surviving population, respecting the vows made, built and rebuilt churches. In the hamlet of Travagli there was a chapel dedicated to the Holy Cross that fell into ruin in the early 1900s.
