Civil Protection

The Bossolasco Civil Protection Group was established in 2005, under the previous Administration.

The Group was born following the particular interest of Dr. Luca CALCAGNILE, who was also its first coordinator until 2010. The Group is very active, as demonstrated by its participation during the earthquake in L'Aquila, which occurred in 2009. It also participated during the flooding of the 5 Terre in 2011, and later during the earthquake that occurred in Emilia Romagna in 2012.
Every time that demonstrations take place in the municipality of Bossolasco, it is always present with its volunteers. Furthermore, the Group has participated in various exercises at the Provincial level. The Group has about thirty members, (N.5 Young New Level), and is also the first at the Regional level to have established the New Level.
