Murales Alta Langa Wall

On Thursday 19 May 2022 at the Bossolasco sports field there was the inauguration of Altalanga Wall, the imposing 90-metre mural created by the pupils of the Bossolasco-Murazzano Comprehensive Institute under the guidance of the Art and Image teacher, Carlo Massobrio.

On the mural, started in July 2021 with funds from the Summer School Plan, some icons of the past and of our time are depicted, starting from Dante Alighieri to Gino Strada, from Botticelli's Venus to Falcone and Borsellino.

Ample space was given to local personalities, from the Balon champions Massimo Berruti (present at the inauguration) and Felice Bertola to writers Cesare Pavese and Beppe Fenoglio, ending with the coterie of painters who in the 1950s and 1960s chose the 'town of roses' as a place of inspiration for their talent: Paolucci, Tabusso, Casorati, Chessa and Francesco Menzio were immortalised by the institute's young pupils to preserve and pass on their memory.

Thanks to its picturesque historic centre, Bossolasco, in the Alta Langa, is known as 'the Land of Roses'.

Hospitality, wine and food, typical products, but also art, history, culture and tradition, make Bossolasco a popular tourist destination.
